Will the bed be big enough for my dog?

Can I pick up in person to avoid shipping costs?

We have relocated to the west kootenays and currenty do not have a free pick up option. thank you for your understanding and if you are located in the Rossland, bc area, feel free to email annie@theworkingdogco.ca

shipping is only within canada and is a flat rate fee by weight.

What are the washing instructions?

BEDS:

Simply remove the pillow inserts and pop the cover in the washing machine with like colours. We recommend a warm or cold regular cycle. Tumble dry or hang dry. As the material is made from %100 cotton, allow up to %5 shrinkage on first wash. This has been factored into the dimensions of the cover but if you don’t want it to shrink at all, wash cold and hang dry.

avoid washing the pillow inserts but If the pillows themselves get soiled, wash warm or cold (not hot) on gentle cycle, tumble dry warm (not hot) using tennis balls (or something similar) to prevent the fill from clumping.

Washing the pillows may result in them being less fluffy but we’ll take less fluffy over soiled any day.

Fleece-lined JACKETS:

jackets can be machine washed and dried, just make sure to close the velcro before washing so that fuzzies don’t get stuck in the velcro!

Rain jackets:

Soap will deteriorate the waterproof soft shell so only wipe outer shell with a damp cloth.

the lining can be spot cleaned with soap and water.

Use products specifically designed for washing softshell rainwear. Nikwax is a great (non-toxic) softshell detergent that can be purchased at most outdoor stores.

TOQUES:

Hand wash cold, air dry.

Will the bed fade over time?

Just like your favourite leather jacket or pair of jeans, Working Dog beds just get better with age! The canvas develops a rugged patina with age and wear. direct sunlight will expedite the fading.

if fading isn’t a look you’re into, consider the engineer stripe denim or another fabric option, which don’t colour fade in the same way.

When will my order be ready?

our uploaded items are currenty ready-to-ship. please allow 1 week from order confirmation until item is shipped. once shipped, you will receive your tracking number via email.

if i’m making a custom order for you, I will tell you when you can expect order fulfillment.
